Abstract

In recent years, changes in the international division of labor have promoted repercussions on the dynamics of international migration, such as the emergence of South South migrations. In this sense, the city of São Paulo has become a destination for many new international immigrants and asylum seekers. This article aims to analyze the social insertion of Haitian and Bolivian immigrants in São Paulo. The methodology contemplates theoretical revision on contemporary migrations and territory, as well as field work of a qualitative nature in the social spaces of the city of São Paulo with a greater presence of immigrant workers of these nationalities.
