Este artigo aborda algumas dimensões subjetivas da questão identitária a partir de uma perspectiva intercultural e psicodinâmica. Inicialmente apresentamos uma compreensão do termo identidade e os desafios que o sentimento de si enfrenta diante a migração. A partir de pesquisas de intervenção psicossocial realizadas no Serviço de Orientação Intercultural do Instituto de Psicologia da USP, discute-se a formação da identidade bi(multi) cultural, se esclarece as dimensões da identidade envolvidas nas relações familiares e redes sociais com a migração.

The purpose of the present article is to discuss the subjective dimensions of the identity issue based on an intercultural and psychodynamic approach. Initially we present our understanding of the term ‘identity’ as well as the challenges that the self faces when migrating. Based on a psychosocial intervention research in the Intercultural Counselling Service at the Psychology Institute at USP, the bi(multi) cultural identity, the identity dimensions involved in family relations and social network support are discussed within immigration.
