Italy is looking for international students to become skilled workers, but is still afraid of them

Italy formally adheres to the objective set at European level of encouraging entry for study purposes and facilitating the transition from study immigration to work residence. However, there still prevails, at the administrative level, the idea that every new entry brings with it an undesirable migratory risk.
