Territories of Mobility in Dispute: Critical Cartographies for the Analysis of Migrations and Borders in the South American Space

This article explores certain uses of "official cartographies" and accounts for various experiences of migration and borders "heretical cartographies" with the aim of contributing to the reflection on different ways of appropriation of mapping practices for critical research and political activism. Thus, the text encourages the use and problematization of migration and borders cartographies and mapping practices for the critical analysis of disputes and struggles around the control and freedom of movement in the South American space.
