O presente artigo reúne elementos bíblico-teológicos e pastorais ligados, simultaneamente, aos temas da Família e da Mobilidade Humana. O texto remete a dois livros da Bíblia onde as duas temáticas se entrelaçam reciprocamente: o Livro de Rute, no Antigo Testamento, e a Primeira Carta de Pedro, no Novo Testamento. A partir de ambos, desenvolve-se um cenário rico em imagens e lições, o qual nos permitirá refletir os problemas e desafios das migrações no mundo de hoje. Permitirá, também, encontrar novas luzes para uma efetiva Pastoral Migratória. Em outros termos, uma pastoral que possa responder aos desafios desse universo cada vez mais intenso, complexo e diversificado que é a mobilidade humana.

The present article congregates Biblical-theological and pastoral elements linked, at the same time, to the subjects of Family and Human Mobility. The text refers to two books of the Bible in which the two themes are interlaced: The Book of Ruth, in the Old Testament, and The First Letter of Peter, in the New Testament. From both, one develops a rich scenery of images and lessons, which will make possible reflecting the problems and challenges of migrations in the world today. It will also allow finding new lights for an effective Pastoral Care of Migrants. In other terms, a Pastoral that could answer to the challenges of this more and more intense, complex and diversified universe that is the human mobility universe.
