Abstract

The adverse impacts of climate change and other factors of environmental degradation are affecting populations all over the planet. On certain occasions, especially in cases of vulnerable populations, especially in the global South, these populations move in order to survive or to cope with these adverse circumstances. Climate mobilities are today a reality everywhere in the world. Despite this observation, there are still persistent gaps in terms of naming, numbers and legal protection, among others. Precisely, this monograph contributes to deepen the knowledge of the current state of climate mobilities and their implications at different levels, as well as to advance towards the knowledge of these realities and the recognition and protection of the people affected.
