Incontro tra le culture. Le reti migratorie

Questo articolo si prefigge di riflettere sui movimenti migratori internazionali come fenomeno in crescita, dovuto anche alla globalizzazione che, da una parte fa crescere le relazioni e gli scambi, dall’altra parte rivela una crescita del divario tra i Paesi ricchi e i Paesi poveri. Si passa così ad analizzare le cause che spingono i singoli ed i gruppi etnici ad emigrare alla ricerca di una vita migliore sia dal punto di vista economico che sociale e culturale. Tra le cause emergono le reti migratorie e si evidenziano gli aspetti determinanti. Pertanto, è necessario tracciare dei percorsi che diventino sfida perché l’incontro tra le culture diventi dialogo, confronto e interazione.

This article aims to reflect on the international migratory movements as a rising phenomenon due to the globalization that in a way helps the interchanges and relationships’ growth but also reveals the enlargement of the separation of the so called rich and poor countries. Then the article exposes an analysis of the causes that pull people and ethnic groups into migration searching for a “better life” whether socially or culturally. Among these causes the migration networks are manifested along with its determinant aspects. Therefore it is considered necessary to outline the paths that shall become challenges in order to make the culture gatherings develop into dialogues, confrontation and interaction.
