Tráfico de Pessoas na Sagrada Escritura. O artigo busca situar e entender a existência do tráfico de pessoas na Bíblia a partir dos seguintes aspectos: o contexto histórico cultural, a legislação de Israel bíblico e o significado da novidade cristã. O último tópico resgata elementos da antropologia bíblica que muito contribuiu para a evolução da consciência da humanidade em relação ao reconhecimento dos direitos humanos.Human trafficking in the Sacred Scripture. This article seeks to situate and understand the existence of human trafficking in the Bible based on the following aspects: the historical-cultural context, the laws of the Biblical Israel, and the meaning of Christian novelty. The last topic brings forth elements of biblical anthropology that greatly contribute to the evolution of human kind’s conscience in relation to the recognition of human rights.
