Qu’elle soit forcée ou choisie, l’immigration ou l’exil impose un réaménagement psychique profond chez l’individu, et une transformation conséquente dans la structure familial. Le départ du pays d’origine provoque un traumatisme important avec une perte de repères habituels et la nécessité d’en expérimenter de nouveaux. L’article propose de parcourir les modalités de changement auxquelles sont soumises les individus et les familles maghrébines dans le contexte migratoire européen.

Whether it is forced or chosen, immigration or the exile imposes a major psychic refitting at the individual, and a consequent transformation in the family structure. The departure of the country of origin causes an important traumatism with a loss of usual landmarks and the need for trying out the new ones. The article proposes to traverse the methods of change to which the individuals and the Maghrebian families in the European migratory context are subjected.
