Abstract

O artigo tem como objetivo principal problematizar o fenômeno dos refugiados ambientais na teoria clássica das Relações Internacionais, com ênfase em sua difícil existência no Sistema de Estados moderno. Para tanto, revê a (pequena) bibliografia que pensa e critica definições, metodologias e conceitos e explora as perspectivas práticas das mudanças climáticas e de sua falta de reconhecimento legal nesse início de milênio.Palavras-Chave: Refugiados Ambientais; Refugiados; Relações Internacionais; Soberania
This article aims to problemize the phenomenon of environmental refugees in the classic theory of International Relations, with emphasis on its difficult existence in the modern System of States. For this purpose, the article reviews the (short) bibliography that formulates and criticizes definitions, methodologies and concepts, and explores the practical perspectives of climate changes and their lack of legal recognition in the beginning of this millennium. Keywords: Environmental Refugees; refugees; International Relation; sovereignty
