revisitando as classificações de empreendedores imigrantessob uma perspectiva multidimensional

Este estudo propõe um modelo multidimensional para compreender as diversas trajetórias de empreendedores imigrantes brasileiros em 17 países. A partir da análise temática de 38 entrevistas selecionadas de um banco com 284 entrevistas em profundidade, 10 questionários e uma revisão sistemática de 29 estudos internacionais, a pesquisa evidencia as limitações das tipologias rígidas e propõe eixos analíticos. O modelo é estruturado em cinco dimensões: motivação (necessidade, oportunidade ou missão), orientação de mercado (étnica, mista ou generalista), transnacionalismo (local, conectado ou transnacional), posicionamento identitário (ocultamento, instrumentalização ou autenticidade) e enraizamento institucional (informal, enclave, integrado ou ascendente). Esses eixos permitem analisar simultaneamente fatores estruturais, identitários e estratégicos, revelando combinações recorrentes e perfis híbridos. O modelo oferece uma compreensão mais refinada do empreendedorismo imigrante, apoiando estudos comparativos e políticas públicas para a integração econômica de brasileiros no exterior. Também conecta narrativas individuais a padrões migratórios e transnacionais mais amplos, avançando a pesquisa na área.
