Trajetórias de brasileiros em Lisboa
interseções entre migração de estilo de vida e mobilidade estudantil internacional

Este trabalho explora a interseção entre migração de estilo de vida e mobilidade estudantil internacional, focando nas experiências de estudantes internacionais brasileiros em Lisboa. Analisamos como suas aspirações de estilo de vida influenciaram a escolha de Lisboa como destino. Através de etnografia e entrevistas, os achados revelam que, embora essas aspirações estejam muitas vezes alinhadas com os ideais da migração de estilo de vida ligados ao cotidiano de uma cidade cosmopolita, os estudantes brasileiros enfrentam dificuldades, como o aumento do custo de vida e a xenofobia. O estudo destaca a importância de considerar as realidades vividas pelos migrantes, além das suas expectativas, e aponta lacunas na literatura, sugerindo a necessidade de mais pesquisas sobre o impacto dessas aspirações nos contextos urbanos. Contribuímos para o avanço teórico sobre as migrações transnacionais, propondo uma reflexão a respeito das interseções entre estilo de vida e mobilidade estudantil.
